Saving Can Happen Early
Do you think debt and goals are only for those in their 30s, 40s, and 50s? I joined the Army when I was 18 because I knew that when I got out, I could take advantage of the college education benefits. But during that time, I needed to build my credit. I had zero credit. Non-existent.
The 101 Financial program showed me how to bank smarter and manage my money better, all while building my credit the smart way. I’m happy to say that my credit score is 750 and I’m only 21. I’m putting away money now to buy a house, which I’m planning to do in the next year. How many 22 year olds do you know who can tell this story?
If you really want to help your young adult children get a leg up on life and money management, send them through the 101 Financial program with Chrissy. She’s patient but doesn’t cut you slack if you start slipping up. I love that she’s kept me on track over these years and I know I can trust her to guide me in the right direction.
